Tender Prey

College project; design CD packaging for something. Anything! I chose to redesign Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds' Tender Prey - an amazing album with pretty mediocre artwork. Here's my one:

Baba Yaga

This is something I did a while ago for a project based around fairy tales - I chose to depict Baba Yaga, the witch of the forest, from a Russian legend. It became an experiement to see how intricately I could do a line drawing. It took a while to draw(!) but really pleased with it.

Game Card Characters - coloured

Here are the cleaned-up coloured-in versions of the three game card characters. They came out better than I thought (the orcs better than the dwarf I think), the basic block colours reminds me of colourized b&w film. Nice!

Fantasy game characters

This is for a college project; character designs for some Fantasy Game Cards. Not my scene but it's fun to draw monsters! so here is two orcs and a dwarf. Quite pleased with them actually. These are just the line drawings, will post up the coloured finals later.
